The SOAR Program provides long term intensive and supportive residential treatment services to voluntary patients who meet the following criteria
Admission Criteria
Male age 13 and older
Chemically dependent
Commitment to a 3 month minimum stay
Medically stable
A young adult age 18 - 21 may be admitted when the assessment indicates the individual's needs, experiences, and behavior are similar to those of adolescent patients. This provision is at the sole discretion of the Program Director.
Referrals to SOAR are not limited to Texas residents.
SOAR is a private facility. The SOAR staff is available to file insurance claims and provide insurance updates. The ultimate responsibility for obtaining reimbursement from insurance lies with the insured.
